She went on to an illustrious career in the federal government where she spent 60 years helping to transform the way studies with human subjects are conducted. She advised 4 Presidential administrations in her specialty area of mental health and aging. At 85, she is still serving as a consultant, reviewing grants, testifying before Congress, lecturing and conducting workshops, and editing for national journals. In addition, she serves on the National Advisory Council of the National Institute of Aging (part of the NIH) and is on the Board of Directors of the National Mental Health Association.
Parking (hourly rate) is available at the Central Grounds Parking Garage. Exit on the 4th floor. Newcomb Hall is located across the brick courtyard.
