Resources for Educators
Staff at the Bioethics Research Library at Georgetown identify teaching resources appropriate to support the full spectrum of educational levels from high school through graduate school, as well as professional and continuing education.
Materials below have been selected because they are of particular interest or usefulness to educators. Links from the journal list will help you keep abreast of current articles and topics in bioethics. You are invited to contribute your own syllabus or lesson plan to the Syllabus Exchange Database - a collaborative resource that shares readings, assignments, and activities others have used when teaching a bioethics course. High school educators should feel free to borrow from and adapt suggestions from undergraduate syllabi.
See additional resources on this site including book and movie bibliographies, the video lending library and case studies written for the high school bioethics project.
